PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device for a building capable of saving an installation space in the longitudinal direction.

SOLUTION: This opening/closing device for a building includes a movable vertical lattice 20 capable of opening the opening A1 of the building A by sliding in the vertical direction and a fixed vertical lattice 10 capable of slidably supporting the movable vertical lattice 20 on the upper side of the movable vertical lattice 20 and of installing on the building A in the vertical direction.
