摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for safely removing and recovering a volatile organic compound with no risk of explosion of the VOC gas in a separated gas at a lowered process cost, in an adsorption and recovery treatment of a VOC-containing waste gas mixed with air and suctioned. <P>SOLUTION: Using an adsorption tower containing an adsorbent for adsorbing a volatile organic compound from a waste gas containing the volatile organic compound, the method for removal and recovery of a volatile organic compound involves an adsorption and removal step of adsorbing the volatile organic compound of the waste gas in the adsorbent by supplying the waste gas to the adsorption tower and thus removing the volatile organic compound and a desorption and recovery step of desorbing the volatile organic compound adsorbed in the adsorbent by supplying a purge gas to the adsorption tower and thus recovering the volatile organic compound and in the case of repeating the adsorption and removal step and the desorption and recovery step, the volatile organic compound concentration in the desorbed gas discharged out of the adsorption tower is measured by an analyzer in the adsorption and removal step to control the flow rate of the purge gas to be supplied to the adsorption tower according to the measured value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
