PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery-assisted bicycle capable of continuously lighting a headlamp even when the remaining capacity of a battery is less. SOLUTION: When the remaining capacity of a battery reaches the lighting regenerative start value V<SB>b</SB>equal to or less than the auxiliary drive stopping value V<SB>a</SB>of a motor, the lighting regenerative power generation is executed by performing the regenerative control of the motor.
