<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the unbalance of DC components by moving image quality improving drive and to make the high image quality of moving images and reliability be compatible. <P>SOLUTION: The 1-frame period of image data is divided into a plurality of sub frames and driven. A first sub frame included in 1 frame and a second sub frame adjacent to the first sub frame are output by polarities opposite to each other.
