PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a processing load in the collation processing of a face image. SOLUTION: An image acquisition part 161 continuously acquires the face images of collation candidates. A face image detection processing part 162 extracts the acquired face images. A simple featured value extraction part 152 extracts featured values from the extracted face images. A dictionary featured value table 156 stores only the prescribed number of featured values of the continuously acquired face images as dictionary data. After the prescribed number of featured values of the face images are stored as the dictionary data by a dictionary featured value table 156, a collation featured value table 157 stores only the prescribed number of feature values of the continuously acquired face images as the collation data. When the prescribed number of featured values of the face images in the dictionary data are not similar with the prescribed number of featured values in the collation data, the face images acquired in the timing are supplied to the face image recognition device.
