PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential microphone unit having a small area where sound cannot be detected. SOLUTION: A differential microphone unit 110A (110B) includes a housing 612 having a first space and a second space which are formed therein, and a first vibration film arranged inside the housing 612. In the housing 612, there are formed a first opening 612A communicating the first space with the outside, and a second opening 612B communicating the second space with the outside. The dimension in a first direction, which is perpendicular to a straight line passing through the respective centers of the first opening 612A and the second opening 612B, is longer than that in a second direction which is in parallel with the straight line passing through the respective centers of the openings.
