<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field bus system capable of reducing network loads without having a display device connected to a field bus consume network resources and preventing the setting error of a control loop. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the field bus system, a plurality of display devices 110-130 and a plurality of field devices 40, 50 are connected through a common field bus 80. Each display device has a data reception exclusive function not for transmitting data to other devices, and the setting of each display device is performed in an exclusive device for setting to which a network address is allocated and which is connected to the field bus temporarily only during setting.
