PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress cyclic noise appearing in a shot image shot with an electronic image stabilization function. SOLUTION: An imaging device includes: an auto exposure section for calculating the shutter speed; a detection section for detecting the commercial power frequency f; a setting section which, when it receives a predetermined operation from a user, sets the shutter speed to an integral multiple of 1/(2f) and shorter than the shutter speed calculated by the auto exposure section when the shutter speed calculated by the auto exposure section is a predetermined value or above; an imaging section for imaging a plurality of still images at the shutter speed set by the setting section; and a correcting section for performing electronic image stabilization based on the plurality of still images shot by the imaging section.
