PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor detachable type lighting apparatus of which the change in appearance by attachment and detachment of a sensor is made less conspicuous and the exposure of a charging portion when the sensor is not installed can be prevented. SOLUTION: The illumination apparatus 10 is provided with an illumination lamp 11, a sensor 12 for lighting control of the illumination lamp 11, a sensor installation part 14 for installing detachably the sensor 12 on the apparatus case 13 so that its detection part may be exposed, and a dummy portion 15 which is used as a dummy when the sensor 12 is not installed, and the sensor 12 and the dummy portion 15 are installed to the sensor installation part 14 in free substitution. Thereby, change in appearance is made less conspicuous by the dummy portion 15, and the charging portion is covered by the dummy portion 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
