摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buoyancy type magnetic azimuth detection element, having a small size, high reliability and superior tilt correction characteristics that satisfy a prescribed tilt correction angle. SOLUTION: Liquid occupying approximately half the space is enclosed into a nonmagnetic circular bobbin 11, having a circular space, and a required buoyancy is imparted to the liquid surface; and a circular magnetic core is stored and floated in a circular core case 14, and an excitation winding is wound, through the outer circumferential surface on the outside from the inner circumferential surface of a center hole of the circular bobbin 11, and two detection windings passing the center of the circular bobbin 11 and the outer circumferential surface on the outside and orthogonal to a radial direction are wound, to thereby form a structure for preventing rotation in the circular bobbin 11 of the circular core case 14, between the outer circumferential surface on the outside of the circular core case 14 and the inner surface of the circular bobbin 11 facing the outer circumferential surface. Four projections 19 are provided, on the outer circumferential surface on the outside of the circular core case, and each recessed part 20 having a shape, corresponding to the shape of the projection 19 is provided on the inner surface of the circular bobbin 11 that faces the projection 19.
