<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio receiver that can tune an antenna only by adding a simple circuit, without having to install an accurate oscillator circuit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The radio receiver includes an antenna 10 for receiving radio waves, tuning means 20 for tuning the receiving frequency of the antenna 10 to a desired frequency with a variable frequency characteristic; a receiving means (31 to 35) receiving a received signal from the antenna 10 to demodulate a modulated wave; a positive feedback means 50 for providing positive feedback for a signal path containing the tuning means 20; and a switching means for turning on/off the feedback operation of the positive feedback means 50.
