<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a spark generated at the end of the service life of a carbon brush of an electric air blower. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A notch 16 is formed on the side face of the rotational direction of a rectifier 4, in a range of the rectifier side of a margin (portion which does not contact with the rectifier) 15 apart from the end face of the non-rectifier side of one carbon brush of a pair of the carbon brushes so that the cross section of the carbon brush becomes small, and the rectifier is made to abut against a range, in which the notch of the carbon brush is formed at the end of the service life of the carbon brush. According to this, electrical angle is reduced in a pseudo manner, the input of the electric air blower can be reduced, and then the spark generated between the carbon brush 9 and the rectifier can be reduced.
