<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for a molded body made of an organicor inorganic composite material having improved mold releasability and productivity, a molded body manufactured by the manufacturing method, an optical part, and a lens. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the molded body made of the organic or inorganic composite material includes the step of forming a release film on the surface of the organic or inorganic composite material includes at least a thermoplastic resin and inorganic fine particles having a functional group capable of forming any chemical bonding with the inorganic fine particles at the polymer terminal or in the side chain, and the inorganic fine particles, the step of obtaining the molded body by pressure molding the organic or inorganic composite material forming the release film, and the step of removing the release film from the molded body without solving the molded body.
