<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head module improving assemblage accuracy when assembling a plurality of liquid jet heads into a module, and to provide a method of manufacturing the liquid jet head module. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Protrusions 38a and 38b are disposed on a unit head 11, and a head holder 24 is provided with an abutment part having an abutment surface on which each protrusion abuts. The abutment part is composed of: first abutment parts 41a and 41b disposed for the protrusions, for defining the head arrangement position in a first direction X; and a second abutment part 42 disposed for at least one of the protrusions, for defining the head arrangement position in a second direction Y perpendicular to the first direction. In the state where the arrangement position of the unit head 11 with respect to the base plate of the head holder is defined by allowing the protrusions to abut on the corresponding abutment surfaces of the first abutment parts, and also allowing one protrusion to abut on the corresponding abutment surface of the second abutment part, the unit head is attached to the base plate.
