PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make users intuitively understand guidance directions along a prescribed course and provide excellent portability. SOLUTION: A direction guidance apparatus is provided with a GPS reception control part 45A and an atmospheric pressure sensor 52A for acquiring position information indicating the position of a casing; a master-device six-axis sensor 51B for acquiring attitude information indicating the attribute of the casing; a to-master-device communication control part 41A for determining guidance directions indicating directions for guiding a user on the basis of course information indicating the position information and a prescribed course and acquiring results of the specification of light-emitting parts specifying which light-emitting parts among a first LED 8A to a third LED 8C are in the guidance directions on the basis of the attitude information and light-emitting-part position information indicating the positions of the first LED 8A to the third LED 8C in the casing; and a master-device output control part 42B for making the light-emitting parts specified by the results of the specification of light-emitting parts acquired by the to-master-device communication control part 41A emit light.
