PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, image processing method, and image processing program which notify a user of the degree of importance of necessity of maintenance operation. SOLUTION: Whether the maintenance operation of recovering the state of a head is required or not is determined upon printing (S52). When it is determined that the maintenance operation has to be carried out, the elapsed time from the point of determination is acquired (S53, S55, S57), and the information processing device notifies the user of the acquired elapsed time (S54, S56, S58, S59).
