<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot cutter capable of favorably observing the inside of a cutter case even in the case that a pellet is manufactured of waste plastics. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The hot cutter has a die 2 having a die hole formed thereto, a cutter unit 4 equipped with a cutter holder for holding a cutter blade 3 and rotationally driving the cutter holder, the cutter case 5 for housing the cutter blade 3, the cooling means 7 arranged in the cutter case 5 in order to cool the cutter blade 3, visualizing means 6 and 10 for visualizing a region where the pellets 20 are cut by the cutter blade 3 in the cutter case 5, air sending means 12, 14 and 18a for supplying air into the cutter case 5 from the lower part of the cutter case 5 and exhaust means 15, 17 and 18b for discharging exhaust air from the upper part of the cutter case 5.
