PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas recirculating device capable of enhancing yield as well as reducing costs. SOLUTION: An exhaust gas mixing ratio adjustment mechanism 5 includes a flap type valve 53 adapted to be integrally rotatable with a rotating shaft 52. The adjustment mechanism 5 is assembled to a manifold 4 brazed to a cooler 1 and a bypass pipe 2. In this case, the rotating shaft 52 to which the valve 53 is attached, is not supported at the inside of the manifold 4, but rotatably supported only by bearing attached to a base plate 51. Accordingly, a permissible deformation amount of the manifold 4 can be made larger, and yield associated with brazing can be improved. Further, it is not necessary to use a special tool for preventing deformation of the manifold 4 itself, and inspection step after brazing can be also simplified. Therefore, manufacturing cost of the exhaust gas recirculating device can be significantly reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
