PURPOSE: A rotary drilling rig is provided to reduce excavation time by preventing the locking defect of multi-stage Kelly-bars. CONSTITUTION: A rotary drilling rig(1000) comprises a base machine(100), a mast(200), a first winch(300), a Kelly-bar assembly(400), a first wire winding amount measuring device(500), a second winch(600), a Kelly-bar drive unit(700), a second wire winding amount measuring device(800), and a location production unit. The base machine provides fluid pressure to the first winch, the Kelly-bar assembly, the second winch, and a Kelly-bar drive unit. The base machine collects the fluid pressure from the first winch, the Kelly-bar assembly, the second winch, the Kelly-bar drive unit. The base machine transfers the mast. The base machine comprises a control booth. An operator is able to control all functions of the rotary drilling rig through the control booth.
