<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an electronic apparatus at a low cost in a compact way by making a light detection means with ease. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus includes: a first case 110 and a second case 220 which link with each other in a relatively movable manner; a light guide plate having a light incidence surface and a light emission surface which are housed in the first case; a light source for position detection which emits position detection light toward the light incidence surface; a transparency member 20 which is placed at the light emission side of the light guide plate; a light detector 15 which detects the position detection light from the light source for position detection; and a position information obtaining means which controls the light source for position detection and obtains position information of an object on the transparency member on the basis of an output from the light detector; where a covered state that the transparency member is covered by the second case and an exposed state that the transparency member is not covered by the second case are switchably made by relative movement of the first case and the second case; and a light receiving surface R1 of the light detector is placed to be exposed in a side direction toward the light emission side of the transparency member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
