<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve-action metal sintered body for the anode of a solid electrolyte capacitor, the sintered body exhibiting excellent physical properties, and to provide a solid electrolyte capacitor using the sintered body. <P>SOLUTION: A granulated product is made of a mixture containing a primary powder or secondary aggregated powder of at least one selected from a valve-action metal, a valve-action metal compound and a valve-action metal alloy or a granulated powder thereof, a pore-forming agent, and an organic binder, wherein the ratio of the minor axis diameter to the major axis diameter of the granulated product is such that a major axis is ≤50 with respect to a minor axis 1. A sintered body of a valve-action metal, a valve-action metal compound or a valve-action metal alloy for a solid electrolyte capacitor anode has either a volume of ≥10 mm<SP>3</SP>and a specific surface area of ≥0.005 m<SP>2</SP>/mm<SP>3</SP>or a volume of ≥10 mm<SP>3</SP>and a porosity of ≥55 vol%, with the maximum peak of a pore diameter distribution being ≥0.1 μm and ≤10 μm, and the volume of pores with diameters of ≥1 μm being ≥10 vol% of the total pore volume. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
