<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater capable of properly recovering drain generated in a secondary heat exchanger and introducing it to a neutralizer. <P>SOLUTION: The water heater 1 includes the secondary heat exchanger 30 in an exhaust part 6, and a receiving part 40 in a position above an inlet 6e for introducing combustion gas into the exhaust part 6 from an exhaust collecting part 5 below the secondary heat exchanger 30. The water heater 1 can prevent infiltration of the drain generated by the secondary heat exchanger 30 into a side of the exhaust collecting part 5 by the receiving part 40. A scattering preventing part 60 is provided in a position below an exhaust port 6d above the secondary heat exchanger 30.
