<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw fastening mechanism capable of generating a predetermined pull force in the axial direction without using a rod-like member for fastening such as a bolt having a diameter greater than necessary, without a great torsional force. <P>SOLUTION: The screw fastening mechanism comprises a through-hole 1h formed in a fastening object 1 in a fastening direction so as to fasten the fastening object 1 to an object 2 to be fastened, a coupler 9 having a female screw (first screw) formed in a position corresponding to the through-hole 1h of the object 2, a fastening rod-like member 3 passing through the through-hole 1h, having a male screw (second screw) screwed to the female screw at the end portion and a screw part (third screw) composed of the male screw at the base end portion, a nut 4 screwed to the screw part of the base end portion of the rod-like member 3.
