PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rotating efficiency of an auger by a driving means. SOLUTION: The ice making mechanism 30 has a cylindrical refrigerating casing 64 provided with an ice making face 64a cooled by a refrigerating mechanism on its inner peripheral face, and an auger 50 provided with a separating blade 54 on an outer peripheral face 52a faced to the ice making face 64a, and disposed inside of a refrigerating casing 64 rotatably on a line vertically extending. The ice making mechanism 30 is constituted to separate and convey the ice produced on the ice making face 64a by the separating blade 54 of the auger 50 rotated and driven by a driving means 76. A driving means 76 is disposed at an upper part of the refrigerating casing 64, and an output shaft 77 of the driving means 76 is connected to a power transmitting section 58 from an upper side.
