<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiantenna communication device for reconciling both of data transmission speed and transmission quality by relatively easy selection procedures. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A personal computer (PC) 1101 presents the number of beams used for transmission of transmission data and a candidate for combination of modulation systems to a user. Encoding/modulation sections 404A, 404B and a vector multiplexing section 406 use the number of beams and the combination of modulation systems selected by the user to modulate transmission data.
