<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent transmission of a useless inquiry response in a communication apparatus for establishing a connection by making a request and a response between apparatuses. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A communication part 11 transmits/receives radio signals. A storage part 14 stores the predetermined number of times and the number of times of receiving inquiry requests received by the communication part 11. When an inquiry request is received by the communication part 11, a comparison part 12 adds one to the number of times of receiving inquiry requests, which is stored in the storage part 14, and compares the predetermined number of times stored in the storage part 14 with the number of times of receiving inquiry requests. When the number of times of receiving inquiry requests is lower than the predetermined number of times as a comparison result of the comparison part 12, a control part 13 allows the communication part 11 to transmit an inquiry response in response to the inquiry request received by the communication part 11, and when the number of times of receiving inquiry requests exceeds the predetermined number of times, it transmits no response to the inquiry request.
