PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer by which any non-printed area at the edge of a recording medium cannot be formed. SOLUTION: In the inkjet printer by which printing is executed to the recording medium by an inkjet system, the inkjet printer is equipped with a recording medium carrying means 221 for carrying the recording medium, a head carriage means 202 for reciprocating a printing head, an ink recovering means 211 for receiving the ink of the printing head discharged outside of the edge of the recording medium at a position under the recording medium, a printing driving control means 100 for executing printing on the recording medium based on a printing range set so as to protrude to a position outside the edge in the carrying direction of the recording medium, and guide ribs 214 supporting the recording medium at a position opposite to the printing head.
