<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of smoothly performing operation for moving a rack back/forth along a rack receiving part. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The rack receiving parts 2 are installed to project on right/left sidewalls 13 in a storage room for storing cooled objects and are formed to extend to the depth direction. A part of the rack receiving part 2 includes a hollow part 24. The rack 4, which is mounted to the rack receiving parts 2, is fitted to the hollow parts 24 to regulate its movements in the depth direction. Fitting ribs 42e which slide on upper surfaces 21 of the rack receiving parts 2 when the rack 4 is attached/detached are installed on both right/left end parts of the rack 4 to project downward and formed to hide from the rack 4 under the rack receiving parts. Arm parts 50 which are elastic bodies for regulating a range of upward movements of the rack 4 are provided for parts of the respective right/left end parts of the rack 4. Parts of the arm parts 50 are provided with arm projection parts 52 for regulating a range of lateral movements of the rack 4 to project and face to the rack receiving parts 2.
