<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an inkjet recording medium which can inhibit the generation of a curl in an image recording process. <P>SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing a recording medium includes a first layer forming process to form a coating layer by applying a coating liquid for a first layer including a binder on a boxboard and dry the formed coating layer on the condition that the layer surface temperature of the layer at the time of drying at a constant rate is higher than the lowest layer forming temperature of the binder, and a second layer forming process to form a second layer including a pigment and a binder on the formed first layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
