PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a long lifetime of a lamp by achieving an electrode in which evaporation of an emitter is suppressed.
SOLUTION: The electrode 100 is constructed of an electrode tip 11 to become an emitter and an electrode base 12 formed integrally with the electrode tip 11. The electrode tip 11 is formed of an alloy of a boride containing one kind or more of a rare earth metal and tungsten, and the electrode base 12 is formed of, for example, tungsten being a high melting-point metal. As the boride containing one kind or more of rare earth metal, barium oxide, lanthanum hexaboride, and caesium boron are considered. An electrode axle 13 of tungsten formed thin is formed fixedly at the opposite side to the electrode tip 11 of the electrode base 12. The electrode tip 11 formed of the alloy of a boride and tungsten is a hard-to sinter sintered compact and becomes an emitter very superior in electron emitting characteristics.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
