<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide feather-containing sheets and structures comprising the sheet, with good productivity and quality, which are useful as an oil absorber, a sound insulator, a heat insulator and the like by utilizing properties such as oil absorbing property, sound insulating property, heat insulating property and the like, possessed by the feather. <P>SOLUTION: The feather-containing sheet comprises (A) feather powder obtained by alkali treatment of poultry feather with an alkaline chemical in a water-based medium; thereafter, oxidizing treatment with an oxidizer and (B) pulp, at a mass ratio from 10:90 to 80:20, and (C) a binder of 0-10 mass%, and the feather-containing structure is provided by plurally stacking the sheets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
