PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood for endoscope which can scatter a pigment or the like inside a living body in a wide range by a simple operation without contaminating a forceps channel or the like of the endoscope. SOLUTION: The hood 10 for the endoscope is attached to the distal end of an insertion tube 50, and the hood 10 for the endoscope includes a cylindrical hood body 12. On the distal end surface 12S of the hood body 12, a dispensing port 16M is provided. The dispensing port 16M is an opening of a container portion provided inside the hood body 12, and the pigment is housed in the container portion beforehand. When a piston disposed inside the hood body 12 is pressurized by a treatment tool such as forceps, the pigment is dispensed from the dispensing port 16M. By arranging the plurality of dispensing ports 16M along the entire periphery of the distal end surface 12S, the pigment or the like is easily scattered over the wide range. Since the hood 10 for the endoscope is attached to the periphery of the distal end surface 50S of the insertion tube 50, the contamination of the insertion tube 50 with the dispensed pigment or the like is prevented.
