PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position control device, suitably correcting a difference between a position computed based on a ripple pulse and an actual position. SOLUTION: The position control device 1 includes: a current position information computing part 77 for computing the current position information showing the current position of a movable member driven by a motor based on a ripple pulse; a lock position information storing part 78 storing the position information on the end part where the movable member is mechanically put in the lock state as lock position information; a lock detection area storing part 82 storing a lock detection area set at least on the movable range side with respect to the end part; and a stop position correcting control part 84, which inhibits the movable member from stopping in the lock detection area when the movable member starts to move from the lock detection area on the movable range side and directs toward the opposite side of the end part, and moves the movable member to the outside of the lock detection area.
