PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic generator capable of efficiently generating power by using a natural water current independently of the head thereof. SOLUTION: A driving means has a water receiving plate 21 formed by covering a plane upper surface, which is formed into a semi-circular, V-shaped or elliptic shape being narrowed as it goes close to a tip thereof, with a wear plate 56 so as to store the hydraulic pressure inside thereof, and suspends the water receiving plate 21 with an elastic raw material such as a spring A46, and sinks the water receiving plate 21 in a current in order from a semi-circular tip thereof so that the water receiving plate 21 moves forward and backward, forming a nearly elliptic track, with the hydraulic pressure W being applied to the water receiving plate 21. The described operation is performed by extension and shrinkage of a spring B62, and a driving shaft 68 is turned in only the same direction by a chain A and a reverse rotation preventing gear 48. When the water receiving plate 21 is returned to the original position by this operation, elasticity of the spring A46 is restored to the original elasticity. The reverse rotation preventing gear 48 is idly rotated in the reverse direction, and the driving shaft 68 is turned by inertia. This turning movement is transmitted to a small-diameter gear 82 pivotally fitted to a main shaft 77 of a generator 81 to generate power. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
