SOLUTION: The nickel-based intermetallic compound has excellent ductility at high temperature. To the weight of an intermetallic compound having a composition in the total of 100 atom% composed of Ni as the main component, Si of 7.5 to 12.5 atom%, Ti of 5.5 to 11.5 atom% and at least one element selected from Mo, Co and Al of 0.5 to 4 atom% in the total composition, B of 25 to 500 wt.ppm is incorporated.
