PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal device in which an input operation is performed in accordance with acceleration, which hardly incurs erroneous input and enables a user to easily perform the input operation. SOLUTION: A cellular phone includes: an acceleration sensor 13 for detecting acceleration generated in a cellular phone body; a cumulative value calculation section 100a for calculating a cumulative value of the detected acceleration; a comparison section 100b for comparing the cumulative value with a threshold; and a CPU 100 for controlling a security lock mode on the basis of a result of the comparison made by the comparison section 100b. When a user shakes the cellular phone and the cumulative value exceeds the threshold as a result, the CPU 100 cancels the security lock mode. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
