<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an ESL and to control mounting position displacement of a solid electrolytic capacitor, with respect to a circuit board or the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The under surface of a capacitor element faces the upper surface of a cathode terminal which is to be connected to across a continuous region, from the anode terminal side than the center of a region, in which a cathode layer is formed, to the opposite end from the anode terminal side in a first direction. The anode terminal and the cathode terminal, respectively have an anode exposed portion and an cathode exposed portion respectively exposed from a coating resin; the cathode terminal has a flat-plate shaped region, having the cathode exposed portion and the upper surface as the back and front surfaces; and if a direction orthogonal to the first direction is set as a second direction, the cathode exposed portion has an extending portion that extends to an end of the second direction of the solid electrolytic capacitor at the bottom; and the extending portion is arranged at a position near the anode side than the center of the bottom in the first direction.
