A method for manufacturing weather strips is provided to prevent burr and steps from being formed in fusing weather strips mutually by generating negative pressure and constant pressure in a weather strip material and a mold. A method for manufacturing weather strip includes the steps of: generating a negative pressure between the outer surface of weather strip material(13) and surfaces(38,39) of a mold(27) to adhere the outer surface of the weather strip material to the surfaces of the mold so that the outer surface of weather strip material is molded into the same shape of the surface of the mold; generating a constant pressure in a hollow seal(16) to adheres the outer surface of the hollow seal to the surfaces of the mold so that the outer surface of the hollow seal molded into the same shape as the surfaces of the mold; and fusing the ends of the weather strips to each other. |
