<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability by enabling a user to notice a sending error (SEND NG) state due to an address error, excess of allowable image size or the like even when the user sits in front of a PC and to resend an image by instructing resending of only a setting error portion. <P>SOLUTION: When the SEND NG of an image is caused, mail indicating the sending error is transmitted from an MFP to a user's PC and a job is put into a stand-by state in the MFP.
