PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system for selecting a connection destination before connection to a server without requiring an excess memory for a wireless apparatus. SOLUTION: Servers 1a, 1b, 1c transmit the data of initial pictures to be displayed on a display screen of the wireless apparatus 3 at a predetermined time interval. The wireless apparatus 3 is in a receiving waiting state until the wireless apparatus 3 is connected to any one of the servers 1a, 1b, 1c to execute channel scanning. When receiving initial picture data transmitted from any one the servers 1a, 1b, 1c, the wireless apparatus 3 displays the initial picture on the display screen 3a based on the received data. When a connection instruction operation is performed on the initial picture, the wireless apparatus 3 is connected to the server 1a, 1b, or 1c corresponding to the initial picture.
