PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine and an injection molding method which can surely prevent the occurrence of a recess on the backside of the projection of a resin molding. SOLUTION: The injection molding machine 10 includes a mold 12 for molding the resin molding 50 having the projection such as a rib 52 and an injection apparatus 18 which injects a molten resin 16 loaded with a blowing agent into a cavity 14 formed in the mold 12. The mold 12 has a movable component 30 of a different part for molding the rib 52 and a core back mechanism 40 which can make the movable component 30 retreat by the injection pressure of the molten resin 16 injected into the cavity 14.
