<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic hose protective device for preventing a hydraulic hose installed between the upper slewing structure and the boom root part of a construction machine from being damaged due to the contact thereof with an oil tank when a boom is raised. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A round protective bar member 12 for avoiding the contact with the front upper edge 7a of the oil tank 7 mounted on the upper slewing structure by bringing the hydraulic hose into contact with the front upper edge 7a when the boom is raised is attached to the front upper edge 7a of the oil tank. When the boom is raised, the hydraulic hose is received by an arcuate surface on the outer periphery of the protective member 12. Since stress concentration on the contact part of the hydraulic hose is relieved when the hydraulic hose is brought into contact with the arcuate surface, the hydraulic hose is prevented from being damaged.
