<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic key system capable of not only reducing electric power consumption but also improving security and convenience properties and being mounted in a vehicle interior later after purchase of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic key system is provided with an electronic key K capable of receiving a request signal and transmitting an answer signal, a proximity sensor S provided in a vehicle door or close to it and capable of detecting the electronic key K or a human body H within a detection area, a transmission part 2 capable of transmitting the request signal, a receiving part 3 capable of receiving the answer signal, a door lock part 4 for locking or unlocking the door, and a control part C for controlling each of these parts. The control part C can detect in both of wide area being relatively wide detection area and narrow area being relatively narrow detection area in accordance with change of sensitivity or reaction level of the proximity sensor S and controls unlocking or locking of the door depending on the wide area or the narrow area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
