<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent intrusion of foreign matters while sufficiently securing air permeability with respect to an air intake path of outside air introduction means, in a washing machine including the outside air introduction means for sucking outside air into the machine accompanying rotation of a washing and dehydration tub during drying. <P>SOLUTION: With the rotation of the washing and dehydration tub 10, laundry articles can be dried on the basis of the outside air (air flow) sucked through the outside air introduction means 18 provided in a cover 6. The outside air introduction means 18 is composed of: an air intake port part 21 having a large number of air intake holes 21a; an air-intake port cover part 22 provided so as to cover the upper side thereof; and the air-intake path 24 generated communicating with the outside of the machine between the air intake port part 21 and the air-intake port cover part 22. At a position on the upstream side of the air-intake hole 21a and on the lower side of the air-intake path 24, a locking wall part 29 (foreign matter intrusion prevention part) preventing intrusion of the foreign matters. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
