<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a preparation method for a composition having an effectively enhanced in-vivo function of activating natural immune function which is present in plants; and the composition having an enhanced function of activating natural immune function obtained by the preparation method. <P>SOLUTION: In the preparation method for the composition for activating natural immune function derived from plants, the plants is: heat-treated without any treatment of grinding, shredding, and grating, using no liquid medium; deprived of components other than the component for activating natural immune function; and then subjected to extraction of the composition for activating natural immune function.
