DISPLAY DEVICE AND DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for adaptively controlling a band necessary for drawing of graphics and that for drawing a moving image in accordance with a drawing instruction.

SOLUTION: A drawing control part 102 refers to a drawing processing instruction 101 to determine the display form of a moving image and graphics and acquires maximum speed information showing the maximum value of read/write speed permitted for a memory. The drawing control part 102 determines a speed distributed as a read/write speed of the moving image from/to the memory and that of the graphics, out of a maximum speed shown by the maximum speed information on the basis of the determination result and controls read from and write to the memory based on the drawing processing instruction 101 in accordance with the determined speeds.
