<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending and cutting machine for glass plates with which a glass plate can be automatically mounted on a flexible member such as an endless belt and bending and cutting work of the glass plate can be carried out without risk. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The bending and cutting machine 1 for glass plates is provided with: an endless belt 3 on which a glass plate 2 is mounted; a support member 4 for supporting the endless belt 3; a glass plate receiving device 7 having a glass plate receiving face 6 for receiving the glass plate 2 from the lower face of the glass plate 2 through the endless belt 3; a moving device 8 for moving the glass plate receiving face 6 of the glass plate receiving device 7; a pressing and cutting device 9 having a pressing face 87 for pressing and cutting the glass plate 2; a moving device 10 for moving the pressing face 87 of the pressing and cutting device 9; and a carrying in/out means 11 for carrying in the glass plate 2 before being bent and cut and carrying out the cut glass plate 2. When the glass plate 2 is subjected to pressing and cutting by the pressing face 87 of the pressing and cutting device 9, the moving devices 8, 10 are operated to match the moving positions of the pressing face 87 and the glass plate receiving face 6.
