PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in a conventional electric blower, since a flow straightening plate to improve the flow straightening action in the vicinity of a suction opening is fixed only by pinching it between support members made of a soft material such as rubber, the setting position of the flow straightening plate slips and prevents the plate from exhibiting an intended suction performance when the electric blower is incorporated into a motor chamber. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner has a flow straightening tightening cap member 110 integrating a tightening cap contacting and tightening the suction opening of an impeller 11 and the flow straightening plate in the outside front of a casing, and can prevent the flow straightening plate from displacing and permits a cost reduction through the stabilization of the suction performance and doing away with upper and lower holding frames by winding the support members 103 made of rubber or the like around the periphery of the allowance of the outside front of the casing 12 of the flow straightening tightening cap member 110 and incorporating in the motor chamber 82.
