<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sheet passing through a fixing part of an image forming apparatus (printer) from being wrinkled. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The printer includes: transfer parts 32 and 34 transferring toner to a sheet; a conveyance guide with a metal plate 61 disposed on a downstream side of the transfer parts and guiding a printing medium to which the toner has been transferred; a pre-transfer guide part 73 made of resin and disposed on a downstream side of the conveyance guide with the metal plate 61; and fixing parts 11 and 13 disposed on a downstream side of the pre-transfer guide part 73 and fixing unfixed toner to the sheet. The printer includes: a non-contact discharging member 57 disposed to be spaced from the sheet between the transfer parts 32 and 34 and the conveyance guide with the metal plate 61; and a contact discharging member 67 disposed in contact with the sheet between the conveyance guide with the metal plate 61 and the pre-transfer guide part 73.
