PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a factor for treating various diseases including tumor disorders.

SOLUTION: Use of the DNA sequence of a MAG gene or a gene encoding HMG protein as a factor influencing vascular system formation or intended for contraception and tissue regeneration are provided. Suitable kits and procedures for the use are also provided. The specified sequence, the factor, the use, the kits, and the procedures enable to specifically influence molecular mechanisms commonly forming the bases regarding various diseases, vascular system formation, contraception and tissue regeneration.
